In order to allow our team time with family and friends we won't be sending out a newsletter next week, so I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone a warm and delicious Thanksgiving! There are many local opportunities to support our neighbors; we've listed one below with Ruth's Refuge, but please check out The Service Collective, Repair the World, and Brooklyn Org for more.
The BHA also relies on your support - and that includes your financial support. Your generosity is what makes it possible for us to keep going strong in 2025, our 115th year! This past year, like every year, the BHA has been your tireless advocate, working to ensure our neighborhood remains one of the most beloved and livable in New York City.
In 2026, we will continue to invest in a thriving public realm - not just on Montague Street, but across the neighborhood. And we will continue to host and support events that foster community bonds and connections. We've recently started a new mom's group (see below) and can't WAIT to bring back The Longest Table this coming spring!
Our lengthy and strong relationships with local elected officials and city agencies mean that even with a brand new administration in City Hall, the BHA is well-placed to continue our vital advocacy on the BQE, Land Use, Landmarking and other issues that impact us.
And last but not least, we'll keep you informed and up-to-date through community meetings and events, social media, and newsletters, serving as the essential hub for neighborhood information and dialogue.
Whether you donate $50, $250, or $1,000, your gift helps preserve the things we love about Brooklyn Heights -- while shaping the future of our neighborhood in an ever-evolving New York City.
Your $250 Donation = Free, Limited Edition Coffee!
As a thank you for gifts of $250 or more, we’re excited to offer “Brewing Community in Brooklyn Heights” -- a special Brooklyn Heights Association Coffee Blend from local purveyors Brooklyn Roasting Company! Donate now to reserve one of these limited-edition coffee tins.

NEW: We’re now accepting gifts of appreciated stock! Please contact Katherine Davis at kdavis@thebha.org or call us at 718-858-9193 to learn more.
