The Brooklyn Heights Interfaith Clergy Association will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Observance on Thursday, September 11, at 7:15pm, on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade at Montague Street. Please join this important gathering with neighbors across faith traditions for a service of music, prayer, and reflection.

The NYPD and Mayor’s Office have announced a citywide public‑safety initiative that brings together specially trained, community‑oriented officers into Quality of Life Teams. These teams focus on everyday issues that affect safety and well‑being such as noise complaints and illegal parking.

The "Q-Team" officers for Brooklyn Heights are PO Urgiles Toral and PO Sanjose who are on duty from 5:30pm-2am and PO Chacko who is on duty from 9:30am-6pm. Q‑Teams will monitor and respond to 311 concerns so be sure to be as descriptive as possible in your 311 complaint and save your complaint number. If you aren't getting a response, contact CM Lincoln Restler's office at district33@council.nyc.gov.
