Get ready for our first ever The Longest Table Brooklyn Heights on Remsen Street tomorrow at 12:30pm between Hicks Street and the Promenade.  For those of you who have registered, please check your emails for details on arrival instructions. 

For those who didn't register but still want to join in on the fun, please feel free to stop by, bring a picnic blanket or a folding chair, a favorite dish and join what we hope will be an annual event celebrating our community over shared food.

Join Brooklyn Bridge Parents as they take over Montague Open Streets for their first ever Spring Fling with over 20 free kids activities this Sunday, May 18 from 12 to 4 pm.  There will be a bike track, a dance party, a puppet show, games, arts & crafts, soccer, face painting, building activities, an obstacle course and much more. RSVP.

Parking Alert - If your car is parked on Montague Street between Clinton and Hicks Street, please move it by 10am Sunday so that all can enjoy this great day.

Returning for another memorable season, the BHA Dog Show will take place on Sunday June 1st during Montague Open Streets.  We have 8 exciting categories for dogs of all ages, breeds and abilities.  Registration is $20/category with a two-category limit per household. The competition will begin at 2pm sharp.

All proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to Paws NY, a nonprofit providing pet care services to vulnerable New Yorkers. Can't make the Dog Show but want to support this great local organization?  Donate directly to them and/or attend their annual gala on Monday, May 19.

As of yesterday, May 15, the escalators under replacement at the Cadman Plaza West exit at the High Street (A/C) station have been returned to service! We appreciate the hard work of the MTA in modernizing this system.

The third and last escalator in the bank will soon be closed to customers for prep work ahead of its replacement which will begin fall 2025. During this time each of the other escalators will be running in the up/down direction.

As reported by CM Restler last week, the Walt Whitman Park sprinklers are finally repaired and will be back on by the end of the month. The sprinkler system caused severe flooding in the basement of the Eastern District Courthouse.  Thank you to NYC Parks who worked hard to fix those sprinklers just in time for the summer season!
