The annual BHA Halloween Parade is happening this Sunday, October 27th at 11am. Parade-goers should meet at the ramp entrance to the Promenade at Orange Street and Columbia Heights. The parade will march the length of the Promenade, led by parade captains from Treasure Trunk Theater.

Bake Sale! We will be hosting a bake sale at the end of parade with proceeds going to support the BHA.  Please sign up to bring a treat!

Head over to Montague Street after the parade for some Spooky Open Streets. 

This is the final Open Streets of the season and it's definitely not to be missed.  Montague Diner is taking over the block with a Doggie Costume Contest at noon!  If you and your pup would like to enter the contest, be the diner at 11:30am to pick up your entry number. Judging starts at 12pm sharp! 

Montague Diner is also sponsoring many other Halloween-themed activities on the block including face painting, pumpkin painting, and a sing-a-long. Get all the details here. We're so grateful for their Open Streets support! 

Kids can enjoy trick or treating from 12-3pm at designated Montague Street businesses and build a haunted house. Be sure to check out woodcarver Dennis Taylor stationed in front of the Brooklyn Women's Exchange!

There are less then 10 days until we close the doors on the 2024 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse. Have you visited yet?  You can buy a ticket to visit the Showhouse Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm (open until 8pm on Thursdays) or you can attend one of our last events of the season!

Want to get one last look at the Showhouse while enjoying a glass of Prosecco or organic French wine from Bobo Wines? Join the BHA staff, our event Co-Chairs, the 2024 Designers and Sponsors along with alumni designers from past years at 182 Clinton Street.

Less than 10 days left to visit the Showhouse also means less than 10 days to shop the Showhouse.  Eyeing any of the sweet items in this Children's Room?  Many of the items in the Showhouse are for sale through November 3rd.  Shop the Showhouse to see what's still available. 10% of the purchase price will be set aside as tax deductible donation to the BHA.

We are in need of volunteers to staff the house for a few shifts over the remaining weeks.  Volunteers are responsible for directing the flow of visitors, overseeing visitors in their assigned rooms and answering basic Showhouse questions.  In thanks for your time, you will receive 2 run of show tickets.  You can come back yourself or give them to friends.
