The Service Collective is hosting a pet supplies drive during Open Streets this Sunday, May 19th from 1-4pm.

Drop off new and unopened food and treats for cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and hamsters and new or very clean blankets, towels, sheets, leashes, harnesses, crates, carriers, enrichment toys, unopened litter, pellets, and hay.  All donations will go to the Animal Care Center of NYC.

Look for their table on Montague Open Streets between Hicks and Henry Street or you can drop off your donations through Friday at St Ann and the Holy Trinity Church anytime from 9am-5pm.  There is a donation box inside the entrance on Montague Street.

The sign says it all!  We're co-sponsoring this shred fest on Saturday from 9am-12pm at the Borough Hall Greenmarket.  Bring up to 3 boxes per person of sensitive documents.

Before it was Paws on Pineapple, this beloved pet store was Rocco & Jezebel.  When owner (and upcoming BHA dog show judge) Andrea Demetropoulos decided to wrap up her time at the store, long-time employee Jo Batista and partner Steve Perez took over the business, ensuring that the four legged residents will continue to have a great place to accessorize, shop for food, get groomed and even have a sleepover!
