We hope you had as much fun as we did at the (record setting for participation) annual egg hunt this past Saturday!  Thank you to all the volunteers and bakers for helping to make this event a great success. We may not be see a full eclipse but Brooklyn is expected to have about 90% of the sun's surface covered by the moon this Monday, April 8th.  Be sure to wear special eclipse viewing glasses, availalble at our local branch of the Brooklyn Public Library while supplies last! 

Weather permitting, there will be many great spots to view the eclipse - which is expected to hit it's peak at 3:25pm. Get all the details from Brooklyn Bridge Parents here.

Attention Teens! The Brooklyn Heights branch of the BPL is hosting a Teen Eclipse Watch at Juneteenth Grove in Cadman Park from 3-4pm.

BHA Spring into Service - Saturday May 4th.  Our annual community service event will be filled with activities to fit every interest, from tree pit care, to building household furniture with the Service Collective to be donated to asylum seekers,  painting at PS8, a clean-up at Hillside Dog Park, and collecting books and baby/children's supplies. We will need lots of Fresh Direct bags and banker boxes too, so start saving those!

BHA Dog Show - Sunday May 19th. Back by popular demand and brought to you by a dedicated team of volunteers, we are thrilled to be bringing back the BHA Dog Show, premiering at Open Streets on Montague, Sunday May 19th.  There will be a number of categories you can enter to show off your precious pooch. For now, just save the date.  Registration details coming soon!

Join the BHA, the Atlantic Avenue BID and the Cobble Hill Association for a virtual Rat Academy training on Thursday, April 25th from 5-7pm.  Learn what steps you and your neighbors can take to mitigate the rat population in our neighborhood.

The online session will be led by experts at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
