Our Annual Meeting is one week away and we hope to see you there!  

We are so excited to see many of you at our annual meeting next Monday, March 4th at First Unitarian Congregational Society.  If you plan to come in person and haven’t RSVP’d, please do so below so we can have an accurate head count.

Review of 2023 BHA accomplishments and plans for 2024.

Special guest speaker Kirsten Gillibrand followed by a Q&A. SUBMIT A QUESTION no later than end of day tomorrow for the Senator. (The BHA will select 4 to 5 questions from those submitted.) 

Presentation of Community Service Awards to the Brooklyn Public Library and The Service Collective.

Raffle with gift cards to local business.

A casual reception with light refreshments to gather with your friends and neighbors, and connect with BHA staff & Board of Governors.

Hillside Dog Park Clean Up - March 2, from 9am-12pm. Volunteer with Friends of Hillside Dog Park to beautify Hillside Dog Park. We look forward to cleaning up the park with you!

Sculptor John Rhoden Talk - March 8, 6:30pm. On Friday March 8th at 6:30 pm, Asia Art Archive in America will host Dr. Brittany Webb for a presentation on the life and work of artist John Rhoden (1916-2001) at his former home on Cranberry Street. Learn more and RSVP. 

BHA Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 30th at 10am, Pierrepont Playground.  We will be hosting an egg stuffing party at our offices sometime in late March!  Details and a sign up link coming soon.

Community Rat Academy Training - April 25th at 5pm We know its not fun, but it is important!  Join the BHA, Cobble Hill Association and Atlantic Avenue BID for a community training on rat mitigation led by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  Details coming soon.

Spring Into Service - Saturday, May 4th from 10am-2pm The day will be filled with lots of opportunities to give back to our neighborhood and beyond.  Email us if you are interested in taking a lead on one of the activities.

Montague Open Streets will be returning this spring.  We are looking forward some great car-free days to enjoy with our community and will share a calendar once dates are confirmed.
