Our Annual Meeting is less than three weeks away and we hope to see many of you there!  

What:  BHA Annual Meeting with Guest Speaker Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

Where:  First Unitarian Congregational Society, 119 Pierrepont Street.  Livestream link will be provided for those unable to attend in person.

When: Monday, March 4th beginning at 6:30pm sharp

Our meeting will kick off with a review of our 2023 accomplishments and our plans for 2024.  Then, we are thrilled to welcome Senator Kirsten Gillibrand who will share some remarks with our community followed by a Q&A session. We invite you to submit your questions here.

Next we will celebrate this year's Community Service Award winners The Service Collective and The Brooklyn Public Library.  We are so excited to honor their accomplishments with you!  Finally, we will wrap up the meeting by raffling off great gift cards from some of our favorite neighborhood businesses!  

Once the official meeting ends, we hope you will join us for a casual reception with drinks and snacks in the beautiful Chapel and historical Frances White Room at First Unitarian.  This is a great opportunity to meet your Brooklyn Heights neighbors as well as talk with BHA staff and board of governors.

PGC Perennial Party.  Monday, March 11th from 6:30-8:30.  Join the Promenade Gardens Conservancy, Brooklyn Botanic Garden President Adrian Benepe and Landmarks Preservation Commissioner Fred Bland as we celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the PGC. Purchase your tickets here.

The groundhog confirmed that spring is coming soon and so are some of our favorite events. Mark your calendars!

Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 30th at 10am,  Pierrepont Playground.  We will be hosting an egg stuffing party at our offices sometime in late March!  Details and a sign up link coming soon.

Community Rat Academy Training - April 25th @ 5pm. We know its not fun, but it is important!  Join the BHA, Cobble Hill Association and Atlantic Avenue BID for a community training on rat mitigation led by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  Details coming soon.

Spring Into Service - Saturday, May 4th from 10am-2pm.  The day will be filled with lots of opportunities to give back to our neighborhood and beyond.  Email us if you are interested in taking a lead on one of the activities.

Montague Open Streets will be returning this spring.  We are looking forward some great car-free days to enjoy with our community and will share a calendar once dates are confirmed.
