Doing some spring cleaning?
We will be collecting items for two wonderful Brooklyn-based organizations, Little Essentials & Brooklyn Book Bodega. There will be a collection table set up near the Pierrepont Playground for the following items from 10am-12pm.

Please keep in mind all items should be new or very gently used:

• Diapers (opened packs are okay)
• New/unopened wipes
• New/unopened infant hygiene items like shampoo, soap, etc.
• Spring/summer clothing and shoes (please no winter coats, boots, etc.)
• Strollers, Car Seats (only those manufactured 2015 or later.)
• Good condition used books for ages 0-12 (please no books with scribbles, torn pages, etc.)

Participatory Budgeting is Back! 

You don't need to be registered to vote or even an adult to impact civic life. Any district 33 resident eleven years or older (or 6th grade and up) can and should vote in "Participatory Budgeting" a program which allows you to allocate $30,000 to fund projects in our community.

This year, there are eleven projects on the ballot and you can vote for any four you think should be funded. The ones with the most votes will be funded in this year’s City Council budget. The projects listed on the ballot represent all areas of the district and can truly have an immediate and positive effect on people's lives.

Vote Week is going on NOW through April 14. Just click on the voting link below, fill in your address, and select your favorite projects.
