BHA Saves Halloween, says the Daily Eagle... 
 

... but we'll just say we had a BLAST!

Thank you to everyone for bringing kids, dogs, costumes and good cheer to enjoy the beautiful day and lots of treats! Just one of the multitude of reasons we fought hard to keep the Promenade safe from the wrecking ball.

Election

It's Friday afternoon and we still don't have full clarity on the results of Tuesday's election. What is clear, is that lots of New Yorkers voted! We took this picture at PS 8 early on the morning of Nov 4th.

According to the NYC Board of Elections 2,346,302 people voted in-person on Election Day and during the 9 days of early voting. Gothamist has a cool map showing how each election district voted. Thanks to everyone who worked the polls and to all of you for exercising your rights!
