After a washout last Saturday, Open Streets is back this weekend for another car-free day on Montague. 

Enjoy the open space on Saturday from 12-7pm and check out Montague Blooms, which has been profiled in Time Out’s Best Outdoor Art in NYC guide, plus piano lessons (sign up at noon with Jasna Popovic), soccer lessons, AND kids eat free at Mad for Chicken with the purchase of an entreé. 

We are excited to announce that Deploy Coffee will be returning with their cart to serve their delicious brews to our community.  Jimmy and Danny originally came to Brooklyn Heights last fall and we shared their story.  

The cart will be stationed near the intersection of Pierrepont Street and Pierrepont Place Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-2pm.  Parents and caregivers can get their caffeine fix while the kids run around the playground and those heading to the Promenade can have a hot or iced beverage to sip while they stroll.

We look forward to welcoming them back to the neighborhood!

Bargemusic's free concert series has returned for the season. Come hear world class professional musicians...for free!!! 

All ages are welcome as this is a unique opportunity to expose younger children to classical music. Programs are less than 1 hour long.

The next performance is this Saturday, May 27th @ 4pm at 1 Water Street.  

Mark Your Calendar: Future performances are June 3rd, June 24th, July 9th, July 23rd, August 19th and August 26th.

We recently launched a new initiative, Brooklyn  Heights Connects, to connect members of our community with each other and with our local businesses.  Our first event was a cocktail/mocktail making class where the group learned how to make a delicious jalapeño margarita!
