We're excited to host our first annual Pickleball Open on Montague!

Grab your paddle, balls and a partner to play a friendly game of pickleball on one of the 3 temporary regulation courts we’re setting up on Montague Street from 12-5pm.

Don’t have a partner? Come meet one. Never played before? We’ll have paddles and balls you can use, and experienced players to help you.

Back by popular demand, our second annual Dogs Day is returning with a bark!

Montague Street will be filled with an agility course, dog pools, dog photos, ask the trainers, treats and more!

The BHA annual Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday morning, October 28th.  And the Halloween spirit will continue at Montague Open Streets!

The first weekend closure of the BQE Triple Cantilever will be on October 14th - October 16th.

The  NYC Department of Transportation announced that the Queens-bound BQE will be closed Saturday, October 14th at 2:00AM through Monday, October 16th at 4:00AM from Atlantic Avenue to Sands Street. The Staten Island-bound BQE will be reduced to one lane. Furman Street will be reversed to two southbound lanes during the closure.

This closure is part of the overnight work happening on the Triple Cantilever to repair deck spans at Clark Street and Grace Court.

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is collecting community feedback and ideas to bring about a safer, more sustainable city with increased pedestrian space and other improvements to the public realm. 

This Community Planning Survey builds on the work the BHA has been doing since 2020 to engage and educate our community around public realm issues. Read more details in Mary Frost's article in the Brooklyn Eagle.

The MTA has completed the 48-hour safety test for the two escalators on the Adams Street side of the High Street A/C station and we are happy to announce that the escalators are now in service! 

The MTA will begin work on the escalators at the Cadman Plaza West side of the station in the next week to ten days.  The Cadman Plaza West entrance will remain open for customer usage, and they will be able to utilize the staircase that leads to/from the upper mezzanine to lower mezzanine. 

The MTA appreciates our community's patience and will continue to provide updates as the project continues.
