Don't miss our annual Halloween Parade on the Promenade this Sunday, Oct 31 at @10:30am! 

Meet us at the entrance to the Promenade at Clark Street and join the parade towards Remsen Street. Costumed kids will receive a goodie bag (as long as supplies last!)

This is always a wonderful community event. We can't wait to see you there! 

You may have noticed that the MTA has already started staging along Henry and Clark Streets for the work to replace the three elevators at Clark Street. The street barricades will be in place until the end of the project. All construction activity will be scheduled from 7:00am - 6:00pm on weekdays, and the vast majority of work will be done within the Clark Street station.

Work will be ongoing into the late spring of 2022, and while the subway itself will not be stopping at the station, the upper level will remain open and the businesses inside the station will be OPEN and ACCESSIBLE.

We urge you to continue to patronize these businesses that have been serving our community for a very long time.

Thanks to everyone who signed up for curbside composting! As of the week of November 29, DSNY will begin collecting organic waste again in Brooklyn Heights. 

If you haven't registered already, you can still sign up here! Apartment buildings of all sizes are eligible as well as townhouses and single family residences. 

Once again you can bring your organics to the Greenmarket at Borough Hall on Saturdays between 8am-12pm. As a reminder, here's a list of what can be composted.
