Learn How You Can Save with Solar Panels

August 1, 6:30 PM

Solar energy is more affordable than ever!

The NYC Solar Partnership was formed in 2006 to expand access by New Yorkers to clean, reliable and affordable solar energy and is now organizing building owners in Brooklyn’s Community Board 2 so they can decide whether to install solar panels on their homes or businesses.

A Community Engagement Meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 1st, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, at the Urban Future Lab at 15 Metro Tech Center on the 19th Floor.  The event is free and open to the public, but interested persons must RSVP at info@nyc2030.org or register online.

At the event, you will learn about how you can receive:

  • A free solar site assessment
  • Guidance on the process of installing solar on your home or business
  • A limited time offer for program enrollment
  • Educational workshops on NYC’s changing energy policies and how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • How to save on the installation of your solar energy system
