Many neighbors have written to the BHA in recent weeks with reports of dog owners using Pierrepont Playground as an off-leash dog run. 

PLEASE do not let your dog inside the playground. Dog urine and feces can carry dangerous bacteria including salmonella and E. coli which can be very harmful, especially to babies and children. 

Take your pooch to the dog runs at Hillside, Willowtown, and Brooklyn Bridge Park instead.

There are reports of both outgoing and incoming mail being stolen from the green USPS relay boxes in the neighborhood, in some cases leading to compromised financial information. 

In terms of incoming mail, keep an eye out for bills or correspondence that you may be expecting that doesn't arrive.
