DSNY will have a special leaf collection service next Saturday, Dec 3rd.  The collected leaves will be turned into renewable energy or compost, and added to soil to nourish street trees, soil and parks.

DSNY accepts leaves in paper leaf bags, unlined containers, or curbside composting bins. Do not use plastic bags and place bags curbside after 4pm on Friday Dec 2nd. Thank you!

High Street Escalators - The staircases for the entrance/exit at the Adams Street side will be temporarily closed and customers will be directed to the Cadman Plaza West side of the station for access through at least 11/25. Some commuters may also find the Jay Street-MetroTech station a more convenient alternative. The new Adams Street escalators are currently scheduled to be completed in mid-2023. 

Court Street R Station - The elevator replacement project has been delayed until the early first quarter of 2023 (originally scheduled for Fall 2022). However, once completed, the brand new elevators will significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of the station’s elevators.

Did you know District 33 has three times as many dogs as the citywide average? Wow! 

To better understand the needs of dogs (and their humans) in our community, CM Restler's office surveyed hundreds of constituents.   

Based on those responses, his office has put together a detailed plan for improvements, including working with the Willowtown Association and the Friends of Hillside to make improvements to the dog parks in Brooklyn Heights.  Read more here!
