The Brooklyn Heights Association is thrilled to bring the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse back to the neighborhood this September!

Open to the public from September 27 through November 3, the 2019 Designer Showhouse will feature the work of fifteen innovative designers from Brooklyn and beyond, in a historic 1830’s wood-frame house just steps from the Promenade. The Showhouse will be featured by our media sponsors New York Cottages & Gardens (NYC&G) in the November 2019 issue, and on Brownstoner.com.

The proceeds of the Showhouse will benefit the Brooklyn Heights Association, whose mission is to preserve the remarkable architecture and quality of life in Brooklyn Heights. The BHA was instrumental in the creation of New York City’s first historic district in 1965, the building of the iconic Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and the transformation of the waterfront for what is now the beloved Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Today, as the community seeks forward-looking, sustainable alternatives for the reconstruction of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, the Brooklyn Heights Association’s powerful advocacy is critical.

You can show your commitment to exciting design and to the work of the BHA by joining the Designer Showhouse Benefit Committee. The BHA and Ellie Cullman, our Honorary Design Chair, will be hosting an Opening Night Party on Thursday, September 26 from 6-9pm for members of the Benefit Committee and other BHA supporters.

In addition, Benefit Committee Members who reply by September 3 will be listed on the Showhouse website and the Opening Night Party invitation, will be credited in the Showhouse Journal, and will be acknowledged at the venue.
